...the trip was a loss.
Andrew flew to Miami two weeks ago to go on his annual music cruise. When he returned to the airport to fly back to Germany, he discovered his passport was missing. He had it on Tuesday and put it back into his backpack, which went under his bed. But it wasn't in his backpack when he got to the airport. So it was either stolen or lost sometime between those events. The fastest replacement still takes two weeks, so I am on my own the rest of my time in Germany.
If anybody (with a valid passport) wants a last minute trip to Germany, I have room for visitors.
